Warren Freyer AIA, LEED AP, established Freyer Collaborative Architects (FCA) in 1991 focusing on a collaborative design approach where functional and aesthetic needs of the client are explored. Through years of refinement and evolution, the FCA studio has become truly well versed in making a mark on the urban environment while speaking the local vernacular. The studio's work has been featured in numerous publications and periodicals, in addition to receiving awards of excellence from the New York City Art Commission in conjunction with the American Institute of Architects.
The studio consists of three licensed architects, six architectural and interior designers, seasonal interns and two office support staff. Our current work reflects a diverse client base, which we believe encourages our staff to maintain a deep exchange of ideas and concepts.
A client of FCA is not looking to be handed a stylized design, but rather engage in an exchange of conceptual representations that aim to fulfill who that person is or what their company stands for. We maintain a strong commitment to sustainable design and green building practices to protect the environment we build within.
